Alice: Disturbed Dreamer and Pigeon Rescuer Extraordinaire.

Today I rescued a wood pigeon that had become trapped in a recess in The Store's exit behind the vending machines. I then cleared up the mass of feathers and, well, other stuff, the terrified and stubborn bird had left behind, washed my hands and then carried on wiping down the tills.
     All in a days work.

A little under two weeks ago I dreamed about dad. Ever since then he has haunted my dreams. He hasn't been the main focus of them, nor in some cases has he even been seen; he's just been making his presence felt.
It's led to many disturbed nights and uncomfortable days, when no matter what happens nothing feels right or seems to fit. That's how it feels: as though nothing fits.

...There has been stuff in between those two things, some of it nice and some of it not, but I am exhausted and aching all over and I just can't think straight enough to focus on them.

So for now, we'll leave it at that.

I am Alice. Disturbed Dreamer and Pigeon Rescuer Extraordinaire.
And I'm not coping so well right now.
